I like the manboots. You will get used to them. I felt the same way when I first bought mine and now I love them. Throw them on with a pair of leggings or even with a dress and they will be cute as a girly button. (just made that up don't ask)
Don't forget to bring those moleskins if you are breaking in new shoes. YOu don't want blisters on your feet when traveling...they are a total pain. I highly suggest carrying bandaids/neosporin as well since it's also a pain to look for a pharmacy while traveling. The other thing I always travel with is nyquil/dayquil the capsule version...seriously with all our travels in the past 15years these are always helpful items.
Just buy more shoes in Milan ;) ;) Oh and an extra luggage to bring stuff home. You may have to control Gus...there are just as many shops for men as women
Take a few things and buy while there. London Paris and Milan are fashion capitals so take advantage ;) ;) ;)

OMG good call on the moleskins ate lisa. i told myself to bring and forgot. yes, will do. i have been wearing them, even in the heat, and so far OK.

NO more shoes! i'm living a pared down life so i can travel more! HA HA. famous last words.
